Leeds: Driver’s lucky escape after car flips onto its roof

AN elderly woman had a lucky escape after her car was flipped on to its roof.

The woman had to be rescued by fire crews after the crash in Addingham on Friday. (July 19)

Firefighters from Keighley and Skipton attended the scene on Friday, July 19 and the woman, believed to be in her 70s, was taken to hospital by ambulance for check-ups.

The incident on Bolton Road happened near the junction of Bark Lane.
