Leeds death crash trio are named

A student’s two grandmothers and an aunt were killed in a horror smash while travelling home from her graduation ceremony at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Police have named the three Sunderland women killed in a horror smash in Harewood on Wednesday night.

Vauxhall Corsa driver Jean Price, 58, and passengers Ethel Stenhouse, 82, and Honor Burrel, 84, died in the collision with a truck on the A659 Otley Road just before 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Police are appealing for witnesses and want to speak to a female driver of a silver 4x4 which was seen turning into Weardley Lane from Arthington Lane moments after the crash.
