A sea of superheroes, Mexicans and scousers took the stands at Headingley for a traditional day of cricket and craziness.
The Leeds ground was transformed into a feast of colour as fans grabbed their chance to don a series of madcap costumes when England took on Sri Lanka.
Traditionally, fans have dressed up on the Saturday of the five-day international test match, with costumes including Sir Jimmy Savile and becoming a regular fixture at games.
But as Headingley will not play host to a test this year, fans grabbed the opportunity to soak up the sun in fancy dress.
Among the costumes on show were a selection of superheroes including Batman, Spider-Man and Captain America who took their place alongside a mass Mexican wave and The Beatles.
Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground is guaranteed to host one England Test Match and one England ODI every year beginning with an England v South Africa Test Match in 2012.
