A sales director who was inspired by his travels to the Far East has opened a Korean restaurant in Leeds.

Adam Harris, 45, from Alwoodley, Leeds, set up Bulgogi Grill at the Merrion Centre.

Mr Harris used to travel to the Far East for his job for a furniture importer and fell in love with Korean food. He then joined forces with Korean business partner Jason Kim Lee – who has a similar restaurant in Cologne – to open the Leeds venture, which has created 10 jobs. Mr Harris said: “The amazing flavours and tastes are what attracted me to Korean food.”
