Leeds Beer Festival preparations flow

Preparations for Leeds Beer Festival are in full flow ahead of this year's event which opens from Thursday at Pudsey Civic Hall.

Over 150 real ales from Yorkshire and beyond will be available and this year’s theme is Down on the Farm.

There will also be a Hop Shop to encourage people to grow their own and the new Keykeg bar upstairs, selling real ales on tap, will be open again due to popular demand.

Traditional real cider and perry will be from around the country, including lesser-known producing areas and there will be something for all tastes, from sweet ciders with a fruity twist to dry farmhouse scrumpys.

Plus drinkers can enjoy a Global Beer Bar featuring craft beers from Leeds and way beyond - the biggest range of International beers of any Yorkshire CAMRA festival. The event runs to Saturday,
