A group of 20 colleagues from the society’s customer contact centre tackled the tough 10k Warrior Beach Assault course at Whitley Bay beach, which was packed with 20 obstacles. The £2,000 raised will be split between the Great North Air Ambulance and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. And The society will continue to support its chosen charities throughout 2016.

Manager Ali Devine said: “The course this year was gruelling, but could not defeat our Leeds Building Society warriors who took part in the North East.”
