Yorkshire Property Charity Football committee launches fundraiser
Members of the Yorkshire Property Charity Football committee took on children from a Leeds charity in a penalty shoot out.
Youngsters from Wildfire@Barnardo's Outreach are set to benefit from a major fundraiser later this year and took part in the challenge ahead of the event.
The Yorkshire Property Charity Football match and fundraising dinner will take place on October 14.
Business professionals from the region will compete alongside ex professionals including Peter Beagrie, Noel Whelan, Andy Richie, Simon Grayson and Craig Hignett.
Former Hull City and Bradford City player and regular Sky TV reporter Dean Windass has also pledged to join the team.
Around 400 guests are expected to attend the dinner.
Guest speaker will be John Stiles, an accomplished comedy act, and son of the legendary 1966 World Cup hero Nobby.
Dan Hodge will compere the event.
Tables of ten at the dinner are priced at 600 for a three course meal and half bottle of wine per person.
There are also opportunities for brand sponsorship of team shirts, the match ball, the speaker as well as headline support.
