We’re still on the lookout for fantastic pharmacists to be put forward in the YEP Best of Health Awards.
In a new category for this year’s awards, the scheme will recognise those pharmacists who provide a brilliant service for their patients.
It may be by giving them advice and support through periods of ill-health, or by offering practical help to make life easier, like delivering prescriptions.
Or perhaps our readers know a pharmacist who has dreamt up a new initiative which provides additional services and care.
Whatever their reason for deserving praise, we’d like to hear about them.
We also are looking for top opticians to be suggested for recognition at the ceremony, which will highlight the creme de la creme of the health field.
YEP deputy editor Brian Nuttney said: “There’s still plenty of time to get your nominations in for our awards, which have again generously been sponsored by Sovereign Health Care.
“This is a chance to publicly thank any health worker who has gone out of their way to provide help, care or support.
“Some of these professionals don’t often receive praise, but they very much deserve it – so get your suggestions in now.”
Other categories in the awards include for doctors, nurses, teams, carers, dentists, unsung heroes and midwives.
