The year of the Snake has slithered into Leeds as part of Chinese New Year celebrations.
The Leeds Wah Kwong Chinese Association organised the official events, including a lion and unicorn dance along Vicar Lane on Sunday. (Feb 17)
Chinese games and martial arts displays also formed part of festivities.
Later today the Lord Mayor of Leeds, councillor Ann Castle, is due at the Oriental City Chinese Restaurant where she will meet members of the Chinese consulate.
