Woodhouse Moor Park

Woodhouse Moor Park is around one mile from the city centre and is around 26 hectares in size.

Woodhouse Moor is a multi-recreational facility. The site is split into six sections with one large site to the south-west of Woodhouse Lane and five smaller sites to the north-east of Woodhouse Lane.

The park grounds are open to the public 365 days a year. Its facilities include a children's play area, skateboard park, multi-use games area (including a youth shelter and basketball hoop), tennis courts, bowling greens, kickabout area, cricket wicket, large open grassland areas, car park, allotment gardens, restaurant, a statue of HR Marsden, a statue of Peel, a statue of Wellington and a memorial to Queen Victoria.

The park is accessible to all and most footpaths are suitable for the majority of manual and electric wheelchairs.
