Samuel Elliott was from Woodhouse, born about 1814.
His father - William Elliott (occupation carrier) mother Ann.
Together with Thomas Nodder he was charged with the robbery of Mr A C Storey from Leeds on Battye's Wood on the night of 2 April 1833.
Both were transported to Australia, Samuel to Sydney and Thomas to Tasmania.
Would like to contact, or find out about, Samuel's Elliott family in Woodhouse.

Can anyone help with my family research please?
I am looking at the Swallow family who had associations with Moseley Street, Albert Street, Reservoir Street, Barran's Buildings, Leopold Square, Pennington Street, West End Terrace and Jubilee Road.
I am also interested in the Hobson family who lived for some years at 3 Fulneck Street. They were living at Otter Street in 1881. Does anyone know where this street used to be?
