West Yorkshire: Teenager in hospital with head injuries after collapsing

A TEENAGER is in hospital with a serious head injury after being found collapsed outside a house in West Yorkshire.

Detectives in are appealing for information following the incident, which is believed to have taken place on Tuesday (Nov 13) at about 2.15pm.

Police were called to a report a 16-year-old man had been found collapsed outside an address on Grove Mount, South Kirkby with injuries that suggested he had been assaulted.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The youth was taken to hospital and later treated in the LGI for a serious head injury. He remains in a stable condition in hospital today.

“Detectives are investigating the incident and have arrested two males in connection with ongoing enquiries.

“They would also like to speak to a man and woman in a light or bronze coloured car who are believed to have stopped at the scene and may have seen what happened.”
