It was part of the Wet Sounds 2009 event, which is a national tour that uses music and sound art played underwater to offer a unique relaxation experience.

Sound travels four times quicker in water than in air because of the density of the water.

So the effect is felt throughout the body as swimmers float or dive through it.

The sensation is similar to that of a floatation tank effect, with the special music used helping to promote relaxation and enhanced audio perception.
