Volunteers needed for Leeds Labrador puppy training classes

l

l

Here’s a dream opportunity for animal lovers who can’t resist the cute eyes and wet nose of a Labrador puppy.

Volunteers are needed to help out at puppy training classes organised by the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association at St Chad’s Parish Centre, on Otley Road, Headingley, Leeds.

Puppy walker manager Nicola Morgan said: “We need three or four helpers per class, mainly to hold the pups while their puppy walker owners are otherwise occupied, but also to make the tea!

“You will see the puppies being put through their paces and have a chance to learn how they are taught to respond to the various commands.”

The next class is this Friday, March 8, with another to follow on April 12.
