They soaked up the sounds of Unknown Cause, a group of wannabee rock stars as well as pther home grown bands including Antidepressants, The Touch and A Lot Like Eskimos.

Unknown Cause are Steven Barlow, Sam Masterson, Sam Kelly, Tom Milner and Tom Lilley.

They have won two Battle of the Bands competitions and currently working on an album of songs due out later this year.

The band, which models itself on chart-topping bands like My Chemical Romance, write all their own songs – and although they're having fun touring Leeds, they hope to one day perform at Glastonbury.

Lead singer Paul Milner, 16, said: "To get on stage at Glastonbury would be amazing and we don't see why we can't get there.

"The Arctic Monkeys did it so why can't we? We think we've got something special and people seem to like us.

"Nine thousands people have looked at our Myspace page so far. We sometimes have arguments but we always work together and stick through it.

"It's great that so many good bands have come out of Leeds and hopefully we will be next."

Breeze on Tour continues at Temple Newsam today before moving onto four other outdoor venues across the city over the next month.
