The death of a man at his house in Leeds was not suspicious, police have confirmed.

The 49-year-old’s body was found at the property on Spen Lane, West Park, on Monday after he failed to turn up for an appointment.

Police cordoned off the house and were initially treating his death as ‘unexplained’.

Further toxicology tests will be carried out after a postmortem proved inconclusive, but police say they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
