Two men were due in court today charged over the murder of a man at a travellers’ commune on the outskirts of Leeds.

Reynolds Tunney, 53, and Thomas Tunney, 31, both from the York area, are the latest to face allegations relating to the death of Sidney Cox.

Mr Cox, 57, died the day after being violently attacked at a house on Middleton Lane, Thorpe, near Rothwell, on August 24 last year.

The two men were due before Leeds magistrates this morning.

A number of people are facing charges in relation to the case.
