TV dance duo at Wakefield Wildcats fun day

BRITAIN'S Got Talent stars Stavros Flatley will perform at Wakefield Wildcats' stadium next month.

The Cypriot-Irish dance duo will appear at the Wildcats' Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 7.

The father-and-son act, hailed by Simon Cowell as one of his favourite dance acts, will top the bill at the Fun Day starting at 11am.

There will also be a barbecue and youngsters can have their faces painted by Wildcats players.

Children can play on Engage Super League inflatables and try their luck on the coconut shy.

Fans will also be able to watch Leeds Rhinos' clash with St Helens in the Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-final on TV at the event.

Everybody who attends the fun day will be given the opportunity to appear on the same team-style photograph as the players.

Wildcats' chief executive James Elston, said: "This is a way we can thank our loyal fans for their support and we would urge as many of the Wildcat fans as possible to join us for what will be a very special day out for all the family."

The event is being staged in conjunction with Wakefield Independent Supporters Club Association; West Yorkshire Police and 'Children in Care'.

The fun day is free for juniors and adults are 3.
