Tiger tour: Bus route overhaul for Leeds students

Improvements to bus routes aimed at Leeds students have roared into action.

The changes, implemented by bus company Yorkshire Tiger, include an improved timetable and more journeys along routes 92, 93 and 94 which serve Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds

Student customers will also benefit from a reduced £9 weekly ticket and the introduction of a new £1 single journey flat fare along the route.

Michael Moore, commercial officer for Yorkshire Tiger said “We are really excited to be launching a new improved service for the Headingley students.

“We’ve worked closely with the universities to ensure we provide the best possible service for the students.”
