Thieves raided a football team’s changing rooms - while they were playing.
A luxury watch and mobile phones were among the items stolen from the clubhouse at Harrogate Railway FC while the team were on the pitch at the Station View ground.
The thieves rifled through pockets before snatching three mobiles phones and a Breitling watch.
Two of the phones have been recovered, but a black Samsung Galaxy S2 and the watch are still missing.
Acting Sergeant Tom Barker, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you saw anyone acting suspiciously around Harrogate Railway Football Club at the time in question or you believe you have been offered any of the stolen items for sale, I urge you to please get in touch.”
The incident happened during a game at 7.30pm on Tuesday, October 1.
Anyone with information which could help the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Tom Barker.
