The Lady Boys back Leeds's World Cup goal
Their flamboyant stage costumes don't usually include football scarves.
But cast members from The Lady Boys of Bangkok were happy to make an exception in support of the bid to bring the World Cup to Leeds in 2018.
They posed with campaign scarves during a break from rehearsals for the final night tonight of their outrageous show's run in Millennium Square.
The fun photocall took place as work continues on the serious business of preparing Leeds's final 2018 bid document for submission next month to the Football Association.
It is due to announce in December which cities will be included in England's formal bid to stage the World Cup in nine years' time.
Leeds is among more than a dozen candidates. Others include Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool.
World soccer's governing body, Fifa, will reveal its chosen host country at the end of next year.
If the tournament ends up coming to West Yorkshire, games would be played at Leeds United's Elland Road ground.
Leeds's bid is being led by United, the city council and Marketing Leeds.
