Teenager forced to watch sister die tells of her ordeal

A teenager who was forced to watch as her sister and a friend were brutally stabbed to death has spoken for the first time of her nightmare ordeal.

Elisa Stephens’ jealous ex-boyfriend Ahmad Otak flew in to a murderous rage in Wakefield last March after she ended their relationship and refused to take him back.

Asylum seeker Otak attacked 19-year-old Elisa’s sister Kimberley Frank, 17, repeatedly slashing and stabbing at her in front of his horrified ex at Kimberley’s flat in Eastmoor, Wakefield.

He then laughed and licked blood from the knife before spitting on his first victim’s body,

Afgahn national Otak then tied Miss Frank up and forced her her send to messages to model friend Samantha Sykes, 18, luring her to Kimberley’s flat in Barden Road.

When she arrived she too was attacked, suffering more than 30 wounds including her throat being cut.

Otak, who lied about his age but is thought to be 22, then forced Elisa to go to Dover with him in a bid to flee to France, but she escaped and he was arrested.

Miss Stephens said: “He hated Kim and Sammy because they had helped me, but I never imagined he would do that to them. I wish he would have told me that if I didn’t get back with him he was going to kill people because I would have got back with him to save them.”

She added: “He was smiling when he covered the bodies up. He is twisted beynd belief.” Miss Stephens said her sister Kimbeley was “her world.” She said: “My life will never be the same again without her. It’s always going to feel like something is missing.”

She added: “I’m sorry to all Sammy’s family. I would do anything to bring her back.”

At Leeds Crown Court last November, Otak was jailed for life for the two murders and told he must serve a minimum of 34 years.
