* The last Thursday of every month is the normal fixture day.
* Members have varing golf handicaps from 28 to 12. Normal competition played is stableford from the yellow tees.
* Once a year the golf society visits a venue on the east coast,a coach is booked for the full dayout including breakfast and evening meal. Past golf clubs we have visited have included Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington Links and Whitby.
* during august of each year the Society arrange a weeks tour to scotland,playing fantastic courses.
* Over the Christmas period the Society play a festive game at roundhay golf club to blow away the cob webs.
