A colourful mural has been produced in a bid to tidy up an unsightly south Leeds bin store.
Graffiti artist Jake Gardiner, who runs community art workshops, sprayed the funky streetscape design in Trentham Row, Beeston, after residents expressed a desire to see the space revamped.
The mural is part of Leeds Federated Housing Association’s (LFHA) Local Offer, which was developed by visiting 200 Beeston and Holbeck residents.
Catherine Nelson, from LFHA, said: “The mural looks fantastic and is a great example of what we can achieve by working together with residents in local communities.”
Local Offers will also soon be launched for Hunslet and in several areas of east Leeds.
