Shopping bags stolen from epileptic seizure victim
A man who suffers from epilepsy had his shopping bags stolen as he had a seizure in Dewsbury town centre.
The 51-year-old man was walking near Argos, on the Princess of Wales precinct, when he had a seizure between 10am and 11am on January 25.
When he recovered, he realised his two plain-coloured shopping bags, containing groceries and cardboard folders, had been stolen.
The victim had earlier visited the Church Street and Westgate areas – but CCTV did not capture the crime taking place or any possible suspects.
The theft is being investigated by the Dewsbury and Mirfield NPT, who are now appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with information is asked to call PCSO Andrew Batty on 01924 431033.
