Sarah Mitchell: Festival date for Rodley jazz singer

A Rodley jazz singer who has Jamie Cullum and Michael Parkinson among her fans will perform at a Leeds festival.

Sarah Mitchell has a three-album deal with Cullum's Candid Records label and he has played her records on his radio show.

She is to sing on the main stage at Chapel Allerton Arts Festival on Sunday September 6 with her quartet from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

Other performers include Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra; Fruit Tree project with Tony Burkhill; Adrian Knowles Mingus band and Tribute to Atlantic Jazz.
