Sandmoor Golf Club hosts charity golf fundraiser

Football legends and a classic comic teed off at a charity golf event in Alwoodley.

Sand Moor Golf Club hosted the match, which saw a donation made to St Gemma's Hospice.

Amongst the players were former Liverpool favourites Ian St John and David Fairclough, original soccer playboy Frank Worthington and Leeds United star Eddie Gray.

Entertaining the sportsmen was Scouse comic Stan Boardman.

Players gathered from 11am, with the matches starting at 1pm.

The golf was followed by a dinner at 7pm, attended by members of the current Leeds United squad.

The day was organised by Leeds companies Libra Demolition and Libra Construction.
