Richard and Judy announce book club 'page turners'
Richard and Judy opened a new chapter for their Book Club today as they chose a new stack of authors who are destined to benefit from their magic touch.
The couple have teamed up with retailer WH Smith, after ending their TV slot for the club, with eight authors set to receive a boost.
Their choices - to be promoted in stores nationwide - will be championed from tomorrow, and they have personally reviewed each of the books. Their will also be interviews with the authors in a dedicated area of the company's website.
The chosen books are:
* Sister by Rosamund Lupton
* A Place of Secrets by Rachel Hore
* The Snowman by Jo Nesbo
* The Wilding by Maria McCann
* No And Me by Delphine de Vigan
* Waiting For Columbus by Thomas Trofimuk
* The Crying Tree by Naseem Rakha
* Operation Mincemeat by Ben Macintyre.
Judy Finnigan said today: "We've spent a wonderful summer reading these books and enjoying them. We're delighted that we're working on a Book Club again - and that we're now able to share our selection with everyone."
Richard Madeley said: "The selection process was incredibly difficult but these books are page turners that we just couldn't put down.
The pair will post a review each fortnight at whsmith.co.uk/richardandjudy, where interviews with the authors and reviews from readers will also be placed.
