Pudsey pupils get clued up on geology
A community group called Rock It has been set up in Pudsey to teach children about geology.
The group have a collection of fossils, minerals, gems, meteorites and amber, as well as a microscope for showing specimens in great detail.

They also have a collection of living plants, allowing them to show children what would have been growing in Pudsey 300 million years ago, or eaten by dinosaurs 65 million years ago.
Rock It did their first talk on Friday, March 6, at Pudsey Library to a Year 5 class from Waterloo Primary School.
Volunteers Kathy Marshall, 23, and Sarah Learoyd, 22, presented the talk, which was all about fossils and tied in with the national curriculum.
The children were very excited to handle real dinosaur bones and teeth, as well as parts of fossilised sea reptiles, pterodactyls and giant mammals such as woolly mammoths.
The most unusual fossils on display were jellyfish, very rarely preserved due to their soft bodies. The group also wowed the pupils with fossils preserved as colourful gemstones, showing that rocks aren't just dull and grey.
Rock It was set up last autumn after Kathy applied for a 2,452 grant from v, the youth volunteering charity.
The group, realising many people consider science boring, wanted to bring the subject to life with activities, quizzes, crafts, technology and lots of interesting specimens which can all be handled.
Rock It will also be running activities at Leeds Museum and later in the year hope to be part of events celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's The Origin Of Species.
