Pudsey in Bloom says thanks to residents
Pudsey residents helped to make the town look blooming great for the first round of this year's Yorkshire in Bloom.
Now Pudsey in Bloom would like to thank everyone for their support and are keeping their fingers crossed that they can build on the success of last year's silver award.

Judges paid a visit to the town and were given a whistlestop tour of Pudsey's highlights including the town centre, Pudsey Park, Lowtown School and Claremont Housing Association.

Andrea Lightfoot, from Pudsey in Bloom, said: "The judges were impressed with the floral displays and the contribution by the locals to help support our work.
"They met with Dennis Pontefract from the Claremont Housing Association, who has been working hard to get the Claremont grounds tidied with the help of children from Swinnow Primary School.
"One thing the judges always look for is community involvement. It is encouraging to see that more businesses are coming on board and the hard work is starting to pay off."
Pudsey in Bloom are hoping to raise funds by selling plants at this year's carnival on May 16 and donations of plants can be made by contacting the group secretary on 0113 236 0650.
