Projected images of the letter ‘P’ have appeared on Leeds landmarks in the run up to a club’s launch night.
Leeds United’s football ground Elland Road was briefly illuminated with the image, as well as The Majestyk, Fairfax House and the city’s Pinnacle Building.
The projections were set up to promote the upcoming opening of the club PRYZM, which takes over the former Oceana site.
The club has had a £1.3m investment and will create up to 50 new jobs.
It will feature three dance rooms, including a ballroom, ‘Wakyama Tokyo area’ and VIP sections, and will open to the public on Friday, March 28.
Mat Moriarty, who was behind the projection project, said: “We wanted an eye-catching way to spark curiosity and create interest.
“It has been fun going around the city, setting up the laser projection and watching the reaction.
“It has certainly helped gain momentum for PRYZM’s opening.”
