AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into a fire at a student house in Leeds last night.
Firefighters were called to Hartley Crescent, in Woodhouse, at about 8.45pm after neighbours reported smoke coming through a plug socket.
A blaze had started in a first floor bedroom of the terraced house, which was empty when crews arrived.
They broke in and spent about three hours dealing with the incident.
Early indications suggested the fire may have been started deliberately.
