Post office pensioner robbed

An 82-year-old man was robbed in the street shortly after leaving a Leeds post office.

His attacker was a black youth who got away with an amount of cash. The incident happened on St Alban Approach, Gipton, Leeds, at 11.45am on Monday.

The elderly man had left his local post office and walked along Harehills Lane and York Road into St Alban Approach.

The youth was said to be aged 16 to 18, 5ft 6ins and skinny and had shaven black hair. He had a BMX bike in multiple colours.
