TROUBLE flared between Leeds United and Rotherham fans after Whites supporters stopped in Burton Upon Trent on their way to Saturday’s game at Wolves.
Staffordshire Police said there was a clash in a pub on the town’s High Street at about 1pm - before Rotherham’s game against Burton at the Pirelli Stadium.
A spokesman said: “This incident of public order was attended by officers and both groups were dispersed.”
Leeds later drew 2-2 at Molineux.
Police are investigating whether the incident was pre-planned.
