  • by Sam Casey

A man suffered serious injuries after falling from a fourth floor flat in Leeds city centre.

Police cordoned off the scene, at Whitehall Quay on the Rive Aire waterfront near the railway station, after the incident shortly before 8am on Wednesday, February 27.

The unnamed man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where his condition was described as “initially critical” according to police.

It is now thought his injuries are not life-threatening. Investigations were continuing today.
