A new art exhibition in Leeds has been unveiled to the public today, and could have mass ap-peel.
‘United Enemies’ at the Henry Moore Institute focuses on sculpture and its main attraction includes a giant pyramid of around 6,000 oranges.
The piece, called Soul City, is the work of South African artist Roelof Louw, pictured. Visitors can even take a piece of art home with them as they are encouraged to pick an orange from the sculpture for themselves, meaning the display will gradually change and disappear as the exhibition continues into 2012.
The exhibition venue on The Headrow is open from 11am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Sunday and the galleries and library are also open until 8pm on Wednesdays.
‘United Enemies’ opens from Decrmber 1 and runs until March 11.
