A mum-to-be who has kicked the habit is giving her backing to a national anti-smoking drive.
During October, smokers are being invited to join the Department of Health’s Stoptober campaign. Hannah Whiteley, from Wakefield, gave up her 25-a-day habit with the help of the city’s Quit Shop.
The 22-year-old said: “I’ve been smoke free for 13 weeks now, which is largely due to the great support I’ve received from the Quit Shop. With my advisors support I don’t feel alone and I know there is always someone who genuinely wants to help me.”
