Are you donating your top lip to Movember? If so your YEP wants your pictures of upper lip furniture cultivated during the course of the month.
And the moustache judged to be the best stands to win a fantastic prize - a gents’ grooming package courtesy of Leeds-based unisex hair & grooming salon Maschio.
The prize - worth more than £120 - includes either a haircut or a cut throat shave, full body hot oil massage, gent facial, men’s manicure and gents’ eyebrow tidy.
Andrew Hutchinson, YEP digital editor, said: “Movember is becoming increasingly popular with thousands of men across Leeds and beyond, ditching their razors in the name of a good cause.
“We aim to celebrate and showcase those efforts. Please send us your photos of moustaches you have cultivated during the period with a great prize up for grabs.”
Leeds Carnegie players are among the people taking part in the 2013 Movember campaign.
James Currie, Ben Hooper, Scott Freer and Joe Graham are gearing up for a challenge that the club has backed for each of the last four years.
The players plan to show off their near-complete moustaches to the crowd at their game against Jersey on Sunday, November 24, at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.
Around 360,000 Brits participated in last year’s campaign, raising more than £25m in the process.
Cash generated by the event helps finance vital programmes that are run by Prostate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.
Movember started out in 2003 as a stunt by 30 friends in Australia, where ‘mo’ is slang for moustache.
