Motorists warned over Leeds gas blaze

Police in Leeds are advising members of the public and motorists to avoid Dewsbury Road and Middleton Ring Road following a gas main fire.

A closure is in place on Dewsbury Road onto Middleton Ring Road and residents have been given safety advice.

The road is expected to be closed for some time.

The gas company are in attendance.
