Music fans were handed an early Christmas present today as more star names were announced for a festive concert at the new First Direct Arena in Leeds.
Rudimental, McFly, Lucy Spraggan, Neon Jungle, Aluna George and Little Nicky have all been added to the bill for Radio Aire’s Xmas Party Live show on Sunday, December 1.
They join previously-confirmed acts Example, The Saturdays, Eliza Doolittle, Conor Maynard and The Vamps.
Radio Aire’s breakfast presenter, Rich Williams, told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “There really is something for everyone at Xmas Party Live.
“From McFly through to Rudimental we are bringing a line-up of acts that love to have a good time and will get the entire crowd singing, dancing and having a good time. The fact it’s the first show of its kind at Leeds’s brand new First Direct Arena makes it doubly exciting.”
December’s concert is being billed as the festive equivalent of the Party in the Park bash that Radio Aire helps to organise each summer at Temple Newsam House in Leeds.
Hosting duties at the extravaganza will be handled by DJ and former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler.
Tickets for the Christmas show cost between £25 and £35, plus booking fee.

The 13,500-capacity arena opened in July with a concert by Bruce Springsteen.
Artists playing the venue over the next month or so include Depeche Mode, Stereophonics, Vampire Weekend, Andrea Bocelli and Nickelback.
Seventies stars The Osmonds, David Essex, Showaddywaddy and Les McKeown’s Legendary Bay City Rollers will be sharing the same bill when they hit the arena on Saturday, June 21, next year.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, priced £42.50. Ring 0844 248 1585 or visit the www.firstdirectarena.com website for further information.
