Midnight walk for Leeds trio to mark their 35th birthdays

Three ladies have planned a birthday celebration with a difference – by taking part in a night-time charity walk.

Kerry Simpson, Tracie Harrison, Michelle Budd, Jenny Dixon, pictured, all turn 35 this year – as does St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds.

The friends have signed up for the hospice’s Midnight Walk, which will see 1,000 people trek around the streets of north Leeds by moonlight on May 18.

Organiser Fran Shilton said: “There has never been a tougher time to fundraise and the staff at St Gemma’s are working around the clock to make sure the funds keep coming in. Sign up for a night of fun, celebrations and party atmosphere.”
