A community has mucked in to help give residents in west Leeds the taste of The Good Life.
Armley volunteers have transformed a former greengrocers on Town Street into a community hub.
The Hub will be officially opened by local MP Rachel Reeves on Thursday, October 24.
The centre will run arts and crafts sessions, cookery sessions and show people how to garden and grow their own produce.
The hub aims to inspire the community to start up their own micro-businesses.
Sonja Woodcock, from the project, said: “It has taken us a long time to get to this point. It’s really about supporting local business and inspiring people.”
The greengrocers will be open on Wednesday and Thursday and there a community cafe.
