Man treated after car hits Leeds barber’s shop

A MAN was taken to hospital after a car smashed into a shop in Leeds.
The incident happened at the junction of Roundhay Road and Bayswater Terrace, Harehills, shortly before 9.30pm on Wednesday. (February 22)
Emergency services said a 28-year-old man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
The building hit by the car was Saber Barber Shop, near St Aidan’s Parish Church.
An external security shutter is believed to have been the only part of the shop damaged in the incident.
