A drink driver who caused tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage when he ploughed through the front of a restaurant has admitted dangerous driving.
Christopher Brassington, 39, was over the limit when he crashed through the windows of Rinaldis Italian restaurant, on Asdale Road, Wakefield, on January 7.
Brassington, formerly of Wicket Drive, Wakefield, who now lives at Hall Ing Lane, Huddersfield, pleaded guilty to both drink driving and dangerous driving at Leeds Crown Court yesterday.
He also admitted criminal damage, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
The case was adjourned for sentencing on October 24.
