Man rescued from Leeds house blaze

A MAN was taken to hospital after being rescued from a house fire in Leeds.

Two crews from Stanningley and one from Leeds were called to the blaze on Ryecroft Gardens, Swinnow, just before 6.30pm on Wednesday. (February 1)

The casualty was rescued from the blaze by firefighters, given oxygen therapy and placed in the care of paramedics.

Smoke detectors on the scene were fitted and working.
