A man who told a jury he couldn’t remember attacking a father with pliers has been convicted of murder.
Craig Kelly, 35, was yesterday (Sept 19) convicted of murdering Kenny Adams after a fight broke out at a house party in Leeds on March 22 this year.
Mr Adams died after suffering suffered severe stomach injuries, a fractured skull and eight broken ribs.
He also suffered injuries from pliers to his nose, finger, ear, nipple and leg.
The jury at Leeds Crown Court also convicted Kelly of assaulting his partner Tracy Myers with pliers at the party.
He was cleared of raping another woman during the same evening at the property at the Clearings, Belle Isle, Leeds.
Kelly, of The Clearings, Belle Isle, was due to be sentenced this morning. (Sept 20)
