A MAN has been charged with robbing a bank in Leeds.
The 47-year-old, from Halifax, is alleged to have threatened staff at the Co-operative, on Vicar Lane in the city centre, at about 12.30pm on Monday before escaping with cash.
A man was arrested on nearby Dyer Street a short time later.
The man has been charged with robbery and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 16.
