Let the sun shine!
...but it's looking like things will only get wetter, say the Met men

SCORCHING weather was set to continue today – but it won't last.
Thunderstorms could spell disaster from tomorrow as heavy rains are forecast for a second time in less than a week.
Up to 50 millimetres of rain – or more – is expected to fall in parts of the region tomorrow, putting homes and businesses at risk from further flooding.
While those in North Yorkshire are still coming to terms with the destruction caused by Sunday's freak weather, they are being urged to brace themselves for a repeat performance.
This week has seen the start of summer proper, with highs of 29 degrees Centigrade in London yesterday and 23 degrees in Bingley.
In the capital, a steamy 32 degC was expected today while in Yorkshire it should reach a very warm 25.
Storms
However tonight the warm sunny weather in the north will become unsettled, with heavy rain and storms developing.
Tomorrow, cloud and heavy rain is forecast, while the storms could bring hail and gusts.
Over the weekend temperatures will drop, but the rain should clear from Saturday morning to leave sunny intervals in the afternoon.
While showers will last longer than last weekend they will not be as heavy, the Met office told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Risk
Forecaster Nigel Bolton said: "It is a different type of storm. The rain probably won't be as heavy but the rainstorms will last for quite a number of hours.
"What people do about it is entirely up to them but this could turn out to be quite a significant event for parts of Yorkshire.
"There is a risk of floods across parts of Yorkshire."
Revellers heading Glastonbury in Somerset or one of the other festivals this weekend should be at the ready with wellies and waterproofs, as well as sun cream and hats.
