Leeds property boss arrested over fraud case
A Leeds property boss who was stripped of his rental licenses has been arrested, the YEP can reveal.
Student landlord Tariq Zaman, 41, was held on suspicion of fraud and money laundering on Monday.
Zaman, of Manor Drive, Headingley, was a former boss of Providence Porperties with house in Hyde Park and Headingley.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 41-year-old Leeds man was arrested on February 2 on suspicion of money laundering and fraud by false representation and is currently on police bail pending further enquiries."
