Leeds boy, 5, is hurt in hit and run
A five-year-old boy was injured in a hit and run in Leeds.
The child, who has since been treated for minor injuries to his arm, had been walking with his mum along Selby Road at Gipton when he was struck by a small blue car.
The pair had been close to the railway bridge by the junction with York Road when the vehicle came from an unnamed road at the side of a takeaway and hit the young boy.
The driver did not stop, and drove off in the direction of York Road.
Police are now appealing for information about the incident that happened at 5pm on Saturday. (February 18)
They would also like to know more about the car and its occupants.
